Nera intros DTV Mobile Receiver

Nera ASA, a Norway-based manufacturer of wireless telecommunications
equipment, has introduced a mobile DTV receiver. Nera DVB-T Mobile
Receiver makes live broadcast TV available to viewers anywhere, whether
they are on the move or in one place.
The Nera DVB-T Mobile Receiver is a
compact and rugged unit, with an automatic configuration
utility.
The Nera DVB-T Mobile Receiver is a compact and rugged unit, with an
automatic configuration utility. It supports DVB subtitling and
stereo/mono audio. Among the standard equipment is the remote sensor
cable, which allows the unit to be installed anywhere on a vessel or
vehicle. Different antenna solutions will be available. Most screens
used in boats or vehicles for map plotting or GPS can also be used for
TV viewing.
The Nera DVB-T Mobile Receiver enables access to flicker-free live
broadcast TV even in a car, bus or boat moving at high speed. Similar
Nera receivers have been installed in commercial buses in Singapore.
The product was developed by Nera’s subsidiary Nera
Telecommunications in Singapore, and is currently being introduced in
Europe.
