Solarism Display to introduce line of entry-level LCD monitors

Solarism Display Technology's LCD monitors

Solarism Display Technology has entered the entry-level LCD monitor market.

Traditionally a maker of multimedia high-brightness monitors, Solarism unveiled the first two releases of this new line, a 15-inch (LM1530) and 17-inch monitor (LM1730). The LM1530 and LM1730 will be equipped with strategically placed slots located on the base which will allow users to hang the LCD monitor like a picture frame.

The monitors also feature a “flex-view” base, which enables users to convert a desktop monitor into a wall mount unit without the hassle of removing the base. These ultra slim units have a 15-pin D-sub connector for the computer. A one-touch auto-adjust button will synchronize the signal from computer to monitor to optimize the image quality.

The LM1530 and LM1730 use top AA-grade panels for high quality panel performance and to eliminate pixel failure. The LM1530 supports up to 16.7 million colors and has a maximum resolution of 1024x768 with a 400:1 contrast ratio, while the LM1730 carries a maximum resolution of 1280x1024 with a 450:1 contrast ratio. Both units will be available May 19th.
