Sony B&P president calls it quits

Although it was not officially announced, Sony officials confirmed
that Sony Broadcast and Professional Systems division president Pat
Whittingham will retire after the new year.
A native of Toronto, Canada, Whittingham was named president in June
2002, after holding previous positions at Sony Canada. He also served
as senior VP and senior general manager of the Sony Systems Solutions
Division in the U.S.
John Scarcella, the current president of the Business Solutions
division, will replace Whittingham.
