BroadView and Sundance Digital team for automated traffic and logging

BroadView Software, a provider of television traffic and programming software, and Sundance Digital, a broadcast automation systems vendor, have announced an alliance to provide integrated software solutions to their common customers.

The combined BroadView-Sundance solution allows broadcasters of all types to ensure their BroadView-produced traffic logs are fully integrated with the Sundance automation system to accurately air programming and interstitials. Clients using the combination will benefit from bidirectional data exchange, automation macro commands embedded within the traffic log and Sundance's ability to perform a virtually unlimited number of secondary (offset) events for any playlist element.

BroadView is a Windows-based, integrated programming and traffic system that provides everything a station needs to manage their program acquisitions, scheduling, and interstitial and ad traffic avails. Similarly, Sundance Digital offers a range of affordable packages to automate broadcast transmission and newsroom operations, including Titan, FastBreak Automation or Spot Play, and NewsLink, plus Sundance Seeker, a digital asset management solution.
