CBC/Radio-Canada selects Inscriber Inca Studios

The CBC/Radio-Canada, Canada’s national public broadcaster, has chosen Inscriber’s character generator, Inca Studio as its new national standard for character generators.

Inca Studio can create on-air graphics with multiple layers of independently controlled graphics, clocks, logos, real-time element transitions, real-time organic dissolves, and page formatted rolls and crawls.

The implementation will initially be for up to 50 Inca systems, which will be used in live CG operations in studios and trucks. It will be under the control of news automation systems and will replace older CGs and branding insertion equipment.
