CBS will launch in the spring MoneyWatch.com, a new crossplatform property intended to help people survive financially during the nation’s current economic turmoil.

CBS is previewing the site, an extension of CBS Interactive’s business site BNET, at www.moneywatch.com.

MoneyWatch.com will be expanded and featured throughout CBS television, radio and mobile platforms. Editorial experts from the site will contribute to CBS News' “The Early Show,” “CBS Evening News with Katie Couric” and local CBS radio and television O&Os.

Overseeing the branded content on MoneyWatch.com is editorial director Eric Schurenberg, the former managing editor of Money magazine.
