nCUBE announced that Charter Communications has selected its technology platform to expand video-on-demand (VOD) to four additional U.S. markets.
The new VOD rollout markets include Worcester, MA; Charleston, WV; and Hysperia/Victorville and Riverside in California. Charter has now deployed nCUBE VOD systems in 15 of their markets across the country.
nCUBE’s video server provides storage and delivery capability that grows with consumer demand. The nABLE on-demand management system is a set of VOD business management and technical operations tools, including real-time and historical intelligence reports. nCUBE’s open software architecture offers cable operators flexibility and ease of operation in deploying and integrating their on-demand service while keeping operating costs low.
