Sundance Digital's Titan automation software is helpng Comcast efficiently deliver its new CET channel.

Looking to streamline its operations, Comcast Cable’s Denver channel, Comcast Entertainment Television (CET) went online last month from a new master control facility equipped with a Titan automation system from Sundance Digital.

The new channel was developed specifically for Colorado residents and features lifestyle programming as well as high school sports coverage.

The Titan can control hundreds of channels in a facility or remotely-manage multiple locations. CET has also selected the company's TimeLiner‚ an expandable automation system. The system controls a Leitch Nexio server, PESA Switching Systems 16x16 router and a Chyron Microscribe CG system. CET will also install an Encoda Broadcast Master traffic software package, which interfaces with the Sundance automation system.

The company will also integrate its traffic and billing activities into Master Control via Sundance Digital’s software.
