Comprompter will provide the NewsKing newsroom system at ITV in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Coupled with the Video Technics’ NewsFlow video server/editing system, the new tapeless workflow will dramatically increase the news programming output throughout Tanzania.
Slated for a fall installation, NewsKing will generate graphics directly from the scripts and control video playout from the NewsCast rundown. A pair of Video Technics Apella servers in a NewsFlow configuration will provide the news and commercial content playout. Workstation editing and browsing allow multiuser, nonlinear show preparation throughout the facility on simultaneous shows.
