The Cooper brothers have purchased Hollywood post-production sound company Novastar.
Matt and David Cooper purchased The Post Group a few months ago and are uniting that company’s audio capabilities with Novastar Digital Sound. The Coopers also own Lightning Media, The Vault production company, and co-own iO Film.
Novastar and The Post Group began sharing resources on the initial season of the CBS series “Numb3rs.” The companies joined forces on the show, a move that led to negotiations that culminated in the acquisition.
