DIVAsolo provides all-in-one solution for tape archives

Front Porch Digital has launched DIVAsolo, which provides an all-in-one path for migrating content from legacy video to high-density data tape. DIVAsolo consolidates three technologies — SAMMA Solo robot and encoder, DIVArchive content storage management and DIVAdirector to provide desktop access to stored content.

DIVAsolo supports multiple encoding formats ranging from uncompressed through lossless JPEG2000 compressed for archive, to MPEG-2 and DV for editing and H.264 for proxy viewing.
