Evolution Broadcast will show Nexus, its compact production control room system in a fly away configuration at IBC (Hall 7, booth 328). The system will control both standard and high-definition production equipment.
Nexus Director lets the director switch between complex productions using two touch screens. With near-field split-screen vision monitoring, a custom control panel and a graphical user interface, the user controls advanced automation features to simplify complex transitions and video effects. The automation controls other third party devices including the video servers, graphics and audio.
Nexus RFX allows a single operator to deliver packaged replays complete with effects. Using custom control surfaces and software to simplify the record and replay process, the Nexus RFX is closely tied to the Nexus Director and the video switcher to provide a full portfolio of automated effects to the operator.
