Fischer Connectors names new U.S. president

Fischer Connectors has appointed Mark Barber as president of its U.S. subsidiary.

Barber, who replaces Eric Fage, served as president and CEO of the U.S. subsidiary for EAO Switch Corporation for the past 12 years. Previous positions included general manager for the French-based company S.E.C.M.E. and division manager for EMS Industries.

Fischer Connectors, located in Alpharetta, GA, is the North American headquarters of Fischer Connectors Holding SA, which designs, manufactures and distributes electrical, fiber-optic, and hybrid connectors. Design and manufacturing facilities are located in Switzerland, with other design, manufacturing and distribution centers located worldwide.
