Fox and affiliates to share download sales

Fox Broadcasting and more than 200 of its affiliate stations will sell downloads and share revenue received from the network's programming distributed over the Internet.
The deal, which will extend programming to affiliate Web sites, was signed last week by Fox Broadcasting, Fox Interactive Media, Twentieth Century Fox Film, Fox's affiliate Board of Governors and local affiliates.
Under the terms of the deal, the parties will share transaction and advertising revenue. The downloads will include popular Fox shows like "24," "Bones" and "Prison Break." New episodes will be available to watch and stream in high-quality video. Shows can be bought for download the night after their broadcast.
The programming will be delivered through the company's video distribution platform, called "Fox on Demand." Visitors to www.fox.com will have the option to find their local affiliate to see available shows.
