FOX Sports creates 3-D look with Chyron

Chyron provides graphics for FOX Sports's presentation of the 2005 MLB All-Star Game.
FOX Sports used Chyron’s Duet system to create 3-D graphics and enhanced motion effects for the recent All-Star baseball game broadcast live from Detroit.

Using Chyron’s Duet LEX and Duet HyperX, combined with Lyric graphics software, video operators used pre-rendered sequences, animating them on and off the screen with a 3-D feel and flip.

The Duet systems were also used to generate a variety of in-game graphics and 3-D animations, including batter lower-third statistics, first-time up factoids, full-screen batter graphics, end-of-inning statistics, due up next teasers and player bios.
