Ushuaïa TV in France has begun broadcasting in HD using SeaChange’s HD play-to-air platform. Operated by TV Breizh, which is already airing five channels with its existing SeaChange platform, Ushuaïa TV will provide science and nature documentary programming to audiences in France and French-speaking territories.

Ushuaïa TV has deployed SeaChange’s Broadcast MediaLibrary/MediaClient (BML/MCL) digital video platform to serve as the foundation for its simulcast HD and SD delivery operation. The SeaChange platform at Ushuaïa TV is working in conjunction with SGT and Front Porch Digital systems.
