The company cited Snell & Wilcox’s track record of innovation that includes the new multiformat SD/HD Kahuna production switcher.
The market research firm said Snell & Wilcox has been a prominent player in the production switcher world for more than a decade, and has a strong track record of technical firsts.
The award also recognizes the company’s achievements in HD production switching, which also includes the switchers with integrated HD DVEs, integral frame stores and the transfer of files via the Ethernet.
