Answering the challenge posed by FOX Sports to broadcast up to six National Football League (NFL) games per week in HD beginning this fall, three mobile production companies have committed to building five all-HD broadcast trucks and equip them with more than $10.1 million worth of Grass Valley brand HD production equipment from Thomson.
The new trucks, being built by F&F Productions, National Mobile Television, and NEP Supershooters, will be ready for the fall "NFL on FOX" 2004-05 football season, culminating in the broadcast of the NFC Championship Game and Super Bowl XXXIX.
