Grass Valley in TV City

TVB has purchased several Grass Valley equipment for its new facility, including the XtennDD SD switcher.

Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB), located in Hong Kong, has purchased Grass Valley equipment from Thomson Broadcast & Media Solutions.

This equipment will be installed in its new 100,000 sq meter TV City facility at Tseung Kwan O (TKO) in Hong Kong. Equipment purchased includes:

• Six Grass Valley XtenDD switchers

• Four DD and three Grass Valley Kalypso video production center switchers

• Several Saturn master switchers

• The Trinix, Venus and Triton routers

• Jupiter control systems

• The Grass Valley NetCaptain network management system
