Gray Television selects Inscriber graphic systems

WCAV-TV, WVAW-TV and WAHU-TV, all located in Charlottesville, VA, will use the systems to improve their graphics capability and integrate with their existing automation systems.
Designed for master control branding, the Inca Station systems will be used to drive animated and still logos, multiple real-time data crawls and time and temperature information. The systems will be controlled by Sundance Digital automation systems to insert graphics, promotional clips, moving backgrounds, emergency programming, local news and advertising.
The Inca Studio systems are being used for on-air news, delivering a streamlined graphics creation workflow, as well as playback capabilities. Inca Studio enables multiple channel effects to be created on a single channel for breaking news or live events.
At the Gray stations the systems will be connected to their ENPS newsroom production system, to drive over-the-shoulder graphics and lower-third animated graphics.
