Greater broadcaster presence expected at IBC2007

If last year’s convention provides a clue about the audience attending IBC2007,
attendees are most likely to meet a European broadcaster who works for a company
with more than 250 employees.
A glance at last year’s attendees by region shows that they came from:
Western Europe and Scandinavia: 74 percent
Central Europe: 5.1 percent
Eastern Europe: 3.4 percent
North America: 7.3 percent
Asia: 6.7 percent
Middle East, Africa and South America: 3.5 percent
In terms of where they worked, IBC2006 statistics revealed:
Broadcast station/network: 19.3 percent
Dealer/distributor: 10.07 percent
Post production: 6.53 percent
Manufacturing: 19.37 percent
