Mississippi Educational Broadcasting Television has ordered Harris Platinum CD VHF and Diamond CD UHF digital transmitters, along with Monitorplus systems and test gear, and a reconfiguration of the Harris Broadcast Manager control system.

The eight Mississippi stations receiving equipment include: WMAB-TV/DT, Mississippi State; WMAE-TV/DT, Booneville; WMAH-DT, Biloxi; WMAV-TV/DT, Oxford; WMAU-TV/DT, Bude, WMAO-TV/DT, Greenville; WMAW-TV/DT, Meridian; and WMPN-TV/DT, Jackson.

The Monitorplus DTV monitoring system is a transmitter site system that monitors day-to-day RF signal quality, transport stream integrity, program video and audio signals. Mississippi’s ETV flagship station WMPN-DT, Jackson, was one of the first seven public television stations to broadcast DTV, signing on the air two years ago.
