Ascent Media Group acquires Sony's Systems Integration Center

Ascent Media Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Liberty Media
Corporation, has reached an agreement with Sony Electronics to acquire
the assets of Sony's Systems Integration Center (SIC), effective
January1, 2004.
Northvale, New Jersey-based A.F. Associates (AFA), an Ascent Media
Network Services company will incorporate SIC directly into its
operations while maintaining a San Jose location. Nearly 60 former SIC
employees have joined AFA, enhancing the significant depth and
experience of AFA's operations in the key areas of technology,
engineering design and installation.
AFA will continue to be led by Tom Canavan, President, along with
his existing team based out of the New Jersey office. AFA management
has expanded to include David Orr, former VP/GM of SIC,now Sr. Vice
President, Western Operations, and Keith Jackson, now Director,
Professional Services.
