The first commercial HD studio facility in Manhattan, New York, is now equipped with Canon HDxs lenses.

Atlantic Video is outfitting the Canon XJ25x6.8B IE-D lens in its facility at the Manhattan Center in New York.

Atlantic Video at the Manhattan Center now has four DIGI SUPER XJ25x6.8B IE-D and HJ16x8B IRSD lenses installed at its facility.

With Canon's DIGI SUPER 25XS, Atlantic Video is outfitting with a studio lens that uses Canon's HDxs system to achieve the high optical performance of HDTV, increase the zoom ratio to 25x, and improve the wide angle to 6.8mm while still maintaining the size equivalent to that of current SDTV lenses. The new generation digital servo system has several new functions including constant angle of view while focusing (CAFS) and the selection of different servo characteristics by memory.

The Canon HJ16x8 IRSD is designed with Canon's HDxs, which enables specifications in a small-sized, lightweight configuration. Creative options and control are also increased with Canon's Digital Drive system of useful digital controls, including Speed Preset, Shuttle Shot, Framing Preset and Zoom Mode Select. All lenses will be affixed to Ikegami cameras.
