Calrec Audio has appointed LA-based Audio Specialties Group (ASG) as
its official West Coast distributor.
Launched in 1998 with headquarters in Burbank, Calif., ASG consists
of Audio Specialties, Bexel Audio, Intercom Specialties and Systems
Wireless. These ASG member companies have provided service in
pro-audio, intercom and RF engineering since 1974.
ASG clients include all of the major broadcast networks, OB
vans/remote trucks, government and aerospace installations. Recent
major events ASG companies have supported include the World Series, the
Grammy Awards, the Woman's World Cup and the NASCAR-Winston Cup Awards
Ceremony.
In other Calrec Audio news, the company has appointed Hibino as its
official distributor in Japan.
Based in Tokyo with regional offices in Hokkaido, Fukuoka and Osaka,
Hibino will provide exclusive distribution throughout Japan.
