Autocue will provide Star News India with a 55-seat QSeries system
featuring fully integrated newsroom, media management, browsing, and
automation capabilities.
The system will be installed in Bombay, Delhi and 21 other remote
locations around India. In addition, Star is also buying 14 Autocue
prompting systems which will be connected to the QSeries newsrooms.
The system will also integrate with a high-resolution server and
editing system from Quantel, and with an on-air graphics system from
vizrt to create a seamless working environment for Star's journalists,
who will be using it to create and broadcast a 24-hour Hindi news
service for the subcontinent.
