Broadcast Pix will introduce an all-SDI version of its Broadcast Pix
Studio video production system at InfoComm June 3 in Orlando, Fla. The
new Broadcast Pix StudioSD includes an integrated Leitch Panacea
router.
The Broadcast Pix Studio is the
workstation-based video production system with the tools of a broadcast
control room. There is now an all-SDI version of this product.
The StudioSD comes with hard and soft control panels, workstation,
DDR, Inscriber CG, switching, two Pinnacle DVEs, still store, logos,
PowerPoint store, and the Leitch Panacea router, which provides six
external SDI inputs and is expandable to fourteen or many more. If the
workstation should ever lock up, a unique fail-safe control system
keeps the cameras on-air and still switching while the workstation
recovers. Optional Leitch control panels provide remote auxiliary
panels. The StudioSD joins the existing StudioAD, which provides analog
and digital I/O.
The company announced an OEM relationship with Leitch, as well as
new control software for the entire range of Leitch routers, which
effectively removes all external I/O capacity constraints from all
Broadcast Pix systems.
