Canal+ Group chooses ThalesCrypt Security Service Platform

The Canal+ Group has selected Thales’ DTV Security Service
Platform, ThalesCrypt, to secure and protect the distribution of its
satellite feeds.
With ThalesCrypt, Thales Broadcast & Multimedia provided Canal+
with a modular end-to-end solution that includes:
Thales CRYOLITE – A stand-alone scrambler that performs the
content ciphering and provides high-level management interfaces, which
facilitate day-to-day operations;
Thales GRAPHITE – A versatile receiver/ de-scrambler, which
has multiple configurations, and adapts to a wide range of
environments;
The ThalesCrypt access right management platform, which is fully
scaleable.
