CEI (Communications Engineering Inc.), a broadcast and multimedia
systems design and integration firm, has announced the addition of two
senior managing engineers. Ken Miller and Vince Forcier, both veterans
of the Washington D.C. post-production community, have now joined CEI's
engineering team.
Miller has 30 years of industry experience, all in the Washington,
D.C. market. He has worked in the region's top post-production
facilities including Henninger Video, Discovery Communications, Capitol
Video, Flite Three Studios, Tele-Color (Atlantic Video), and the
Capitol Centre. Miller's accomplishments include designing the area's
first telecine, integrating two-dozen Avid edit suites to support the
launch of 10 networks at Discovery Communications, and managing the
Capitol Centre's migration to a broadcast origination facility capable
of producing 250 live events annually.
Forcier comes to CEI from Roland House, a production facility in
Arlington, VA, where he was Vice President of Engineering. Under
Forcier's management, Roland House became the first facility in the
region to offer an all-digital edit suite. In 1999, he designed and
integrated the area's first HD edit suite. During his 15 years in
Washington, Forcier also held engineering positions at Capitol Video,
and the Harriman Communications Center.
CEI has also added design engineers David Eisenberg and Tim Bailey.
Systems Support Engineer Charlie Biggs was brought on to support
clients' maintenance and service requirements.
