Fiber Systems International introduces integrated test set

The kit includes a Loopback plug, an AC
power adapter/recharger, four interchangeable AC adapter plugs,
afoam-filled case and an optional cleaning kit – with 50 optic
cleaning pads, 50 swabs and foam cleaning fluid.
Fiber Systems International has introduced the Model 1300 Optical
Loss test set for TFOCA (Tactical Optic Fiber Connector Assembly),
TFOCA-II, MIL-C-28876 and standard hermaphroditic fiber optic
connectors.
This integrated test set is specifically designed to address the
test and verification of multi-fiber optic cable assemblies. The test
set includes two optical sources and two power meters in a single unit
with a integral interface connector. The Model 1300 Optical Loss Test
Set also includes an with optional cleaning kit.
The kit includes:
Loopback plug

Ruggedized, foam-filled case
An optional cleaning kit – with 50 optic cleaning pads, 50
swabs and foam cleaning fluid
An optional breakout cable and fault finder (Plug to ST, SC or FC
breakout cable)
The light source/power meter is housed in a rugged hand held
enclosure with a rubber holster and operates on four rechargeable 1.5 V
AA batteries. A 90-264 V, 47-63 Hz AC adapter with four interchangeable
international-standard plugs is also provided. An LCD graphic display
shows loss through the entire cable assembly.
