The Golf Channel to install Solid State Logic's C100 digital broadcast console

The Golf Channel will install a new Solid State Logic C100 Digital Broadcast Console to handle audio for their roster of golfing shows. The C100 will handle both analog and digital audio from multiple sources, while providing SSL’s automation features necessary to streamline their production process.



The Golf Channel will install a new Solid State Logic C100 Digital Broadcast Console in its Orlando, Fla. studio. The C100 is a small footprint, assignable console, specifically designed for on-air studio applications. The C100 is a small footprint, assignable console, specifically designed for on-air studio applications, such as news and sports, and live-to tape talk and game shows. The transition to digital broadcast is fully addressed by the C100 Digital Broadcast Console, delivering the ultimate in operational efficiency in a cost-effective scalable solution.

At the heart of a C100 system lies the Centuri core, purpose-designed for live use with robust hardware construction and fault-tolerant design. The compact, integrated frame makes the unit ideal for studio and mobile installations where space and weight are at a premium. The broadcast focused core features SSL’s unique processing. In addition, as processing is dedicated to every channel, there’s no need to assign resources at the start of a show setup.
