Leitch to showcase integrated content environment at IBC2003

Jul 14, 2003 12:00 PM

Leitch will unveil a new way to provide single product applications to complete system solutions within an integrated environment at IBC2003.

NEO products offer an architecture that accommodates routing, distribution and clock and signal reference products, along with a range of interface, conversion, synchronization and compression solutions in a minimal amount of space.

The company will showcase new solutions in infrastructure and processing along with a new video server platform and software for news and transmission applications.

Within content production, editors and producers will see updates to the dpsVelocityQ multi-stream nonlinear editing System. In content processing, new additions to the NEO platform will be unveiled, including a modular upconverter; the NEO DVR hard disk recorder packaged on a single module; new high-density Simplicity cards; and the NEO SuiteView modular multi-source display processor. New modules for the 6800+ interface platform will also be introduced.

As part of the content transmission process, Leitch is introducing Panacea, a compact, router series featuring comprehensive format support including HD, and Integrator Gold, a new wideband digital multi-rate router. Monitoring and management of all content and workflow will be demonstrated through enhanced monitoring and control across its product line with new Command Control System (CCS) software. Equipment can be controlled and monitored over IP and SNMP networks using CCS Navigator, a new software package that reduces complex actions to simple point-and-click operations.
