Modulus Video has closed an $8.5 million Series A financing led by
Trinity Ventures. Joining the Modulus board of directors from Trinity
Ventures are Gus Tai, general partner, and Alex Osadzinski, venture
partner.
The company also appointed Robert L. Wilson as CEO and chairman.
Wilson has extensive experience in the broadcast industry including
management positions at Pinnacle Systems, Accom and Grass Valley.
Modulus Video is developing a family of HD and SD digital video
solutions for broadcast television based on AVC video compression
systems.
