Pathfire delivers video content to newsrooms with D S Simon

Pathfire and D S Simon Productions are working together to
distribute video news releases, b-roll footage and other short-form
content directly to newsroom desktops in broadcast newsrooms throughout
the U.S.
Beginning this month D S Simon will deliver video content to
newsrooms through the Pathfire Digital Media Gateway (DMG), an
automated IP-multicast distribution platform with servers located in
broadcast facilities.
News producers will now be able to receive video content produced by
D S Simon directly on their desktops for immediate preview and
selection, through the same platform used to receive network news
services content.
