Dalet Digital Media Systems recently announced that the Russian satellite channel Rusiya Al-Yaum will use the DaletPlus News Suite solution to broadcast its programs in Arabic. This Dalet installation comes 10 months after the successful deployment of the DaletPlus end-to-end newsroom solution at Russia Today. This DaletPlus New Suite installation will provide Rusiya Al-Yaum with comprehensive newsroom production, playout and archiving capabilities leveraging the power of Omneon video servers and standard IT technology.

Rusiya Al-Yaum is planned to go on-air during the first quarter of 2007. The channel is an Arabic language news service for Arab and Arabic-speaking viewers. It is devoted mainly to news and information. Additionally, it will offer a variety of documentaries, discussion programs, press reviews, business, cultural and sports events.
