Hitachi introduces the DMM3 multi-level FM link

The new Hitachi DMM3 lets broadcasters transmit a digital base-band signal over an analog FM microwave link.

The multi-level FM adapter comes with four-level frequency shift key (FSK). Eight-level FSK is available as an option. The unit supports bit rates of 45Mbps (eight level) and 20 Mbps (four level).

The DMM3, which is easy to operate and install, supports two active inputs from a choice of four DTA formats, including SMPTE-310M, DVB-ASI and DS-3.
