Hollywood’s iO Film buys Nucoda system

The Nucoda Film Master system will be connected to iO Film’s existing SAN in order to take advantage of Nucoda’s Shared Storage Architecture.
Digital Vision, a developer of digital media applications for film and video, announced that iO Film, a post facility in Hollywood, has purchased a Nucoda Film Master color correction and conforming system.

This will be the fourth Nucoda system installed at iO Film. The post house has used its existing Nucoda systems to produce the digital intermediates for several feature films. The latest system to be installed at iO Film comes with SD and HD 444 capability as well as 2k and 4k 16-bit processing.

The system will be connected to iO Film’s existing SAN in order to take advantage of Nucoda’s Shared Storage Architecture, which allows multiple Nucoda workstations to share access to the same set of material. This allows iO Film’s artists and engineers to support parallel workflows for several projects simultaneously.
