Jul 25, 2007 8:00 PM

As IPTV emerges as a significant, new distribution avenue for TV broadcasters and other video content producers, IBC2007 is responding with the IPTV Zone, bringing together many of the organizations and technology firms blazing the trail in delivery of television via IP.

Among the participants in the IPTV Zone will be TANDBERG Television, Kasenna, Thomson Grass Valley and Texas Instruments. Signiant, which launched at NAB2007 in Las Vegas, has signed on as a Platinum Sponsor.

The IPTV Zone will provide an opportunity for application developers, content providers and technology companies to showcase their capabilities at the heart of the IBC2007 conference and exhibition.

Running in parallel with the IPTV Zone will be a series of free business briefings.
