Indian broadcaster purchases 22 Pixel Power Collage2 CG systems

Doordarshan, the national television service of India, has purchased 22 Collage2 character generators and graphics systems from Pixel Power.

After a year of tests and discussion, two Pixel Power Collage2 systems were ordered and installed in Doordarshan's Delhi headquarters. Following successful trials, 20 more Collage2 systems were ordered for installation throughout India. They will support nine different Indian languages.

Doordarshan's network of 1,314 terrestrial transmitters covers more than 89.6 percent of India's population.
