Industry mourns loss of 35-year sales and production executive

The broadcasting industry is mourning the loss of Richard "Dick" DeBeradinis. The 35-year industry professional died on Nov. 12, 2006, at his home in Ormond Beach, FL, from pancreatic cancer. He was 72.

Dick practiced in the Northeast, based in and around New York City, since 1962 servicing customers on the East Coast and in the Caribbean. In his sales management roles, he worked in all parts of the industry, including production, post production, government and network broadcast for such companies as Central Dynamics, CMX, Ross Video, Utah Scientific and Vela Research.

Born in Ossining, NY, Dick is survived by Marilyn, his wife of 34 years, as well as two sons, two daughters, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
