IP-Probe upgrade provides improved features

Bridge Technologies has released IP-Probe v3.7 software, enabling even more advanced monitoring of digital TV service quality. The software includes new features that add to the power of the company's end-to-end digital TV monitoring solution.

Provided free to existing IP-Probe owners, version 3.7 delivers the ability to record transport streams into files on the IP-Probe with alarm-triggered recording. The ETSI TR 101 290 analysis capability is extended with new functionality in the graphical user interface. ETSI TR 101 290 now provides full ATSC, PSIP and DVB support for global operation. The real-time "sniffer" has also been enhanced and the protocol view now provides a breakdown into uni- and multicast streams as well as the number of unicast streams present on the interface.

The VideoBRIDGE series of IP-Probes provides an advanced industrial platform for converging TV services employing stream-based IP packets. Compatible with all major stream-based industrial standards such as MPEG-2, H.264/AVC and WM9/VC-1, the VideoBRIDGE series offers a complete end-to-end system for the continuous quality assurance of a network containing streaming media services.
