Jul 16, 2008 8:00 AM

For the seventh time since 2001, the reality TV show “Big Brother Italy” will be produced using Etere software. The “Big Brother” staff uses Etere to manage all 103 TV cameras and further technical equipment including camera remotes, ambient microphones and sound mixers.

VISCA camera control protocol is used to control brightness and color settings while Camera Remote Control runs the orientation and zoom of cameras.

Etere also provided “Big Brother Italy” with Logger, an application that allows the operators to tag recordings as different sequences.
