ITN broadcasts live news with Fly-Aways from SWE-DISH Satellite Systems

SWE-DISH Satellite Systems has sold two FA90K Fly-Away satellite communications terminals to ITN (Independent Television News), the British independent commercial public service broadcaster. The transportable lightweight satellite terminals are being used for news coverage in the Middle East.

The SWE-DISH FA90K Fly-Away consists of three flight cases. One person can set up the terminal in less than 10 minutes. Standard features allow multiple simultaneous transmissions and two-way communications.

The Fly-Away FA90K IP offers IP transmission up to 5 Mbps, and can upgrade to 10 Mbps and MPEG-2 DVB.
