Jampro Prostar turns in stellar performance for SCTV
Aug 8, 2007 4:37 PM
Indonesian TV network Surya Citra Televisi (SCTV) has recently installed a Jampro Prostar UHF slot antenna.
Following the installation of the model JA-MS, which is rated to handle 30kW, the network has reported remarkable coverage. SCTV’s 20kW transmitter drives the transmission system.
Jampro’s JA-MS is the UHF medium power, harsh environment version in the Prostar series. It is designed to operate reliably even in hot, humid tropical climates with high salt content atmospheres like Indonesia. The slot antenna is built from marine brass, copper and virgin Teflon. White UV resistant radomes provide even greater protection for SCTV’s signal.
