KABC-TV to host SMPTE DTV seminar

The Los Angeles Chapter of the Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers (SMPTE) and KABC-TV will host an all-day seminar on the ATSC standards and 8-VSB transmission system related to digital television broadcasting. The program ($35, including lunch) will be held at the new KABC-TV facilities on Sat., Jan. 15. It is open to all interested parties.
