Kansas City arena installs new digital boards

The screens and video boards at the American Royal Arena in Kansas City, MO, have received a digital upgrade. The arena now features three AccelerOptics XLV-100 digital displays measuring 100in. Two are positioned at the north end of the arena and outfitted with Panasonic 5600 projectors placed off axis about 33ft from the screens. A single XLV-100 is positioned at the south entrance of the arena to accommodate overflow foot traffic during events.

MXA MediaXtreme players, which provided the content, are manufactured by Key West Technology and feature inherent geometry correction software enabling virtually unlimited placement of the projectors relative to the XL-A-Vision screens.
