Kidd to head DG FastChannel Unicast group in Europe

DG FastChannel has named Richard Kidd as managing director of Europe. He will be responsible for overseeing the European operations of DG FastChannel’s Unicast Internet Marketing and Advertising Technology Group.

Unicast allows media agencies, creative agencies, online publishers and advertisers to deliver rich media for online and mobile advertising. Kidd will report directly to DG FastChannelExecutive VP Derek Smith.

Kidd previously held the position of senior director of rich media for the EMEA at DoubleClick/Google. He was responsible for the company’s suite of rich media tools and ad serving solutions for agencies and publishers.
