NBC Sports elevates Miller
Jon Miller has been promoted to executive vice president, NBC Sports. He will continue to oversee all NBC Sports programming and will also take on a broader role in NBC Sports sales.

ESPN promotes Gertsmark
ESPN has promoted Rebecca Gertsmark from manager to director with a primary focus on affiliate sales and marketing, ESPN HD and ESPN2 HD, and the Mobile ESPN wireless publishing businesses.

Yamgo launches extreme sports on mobile TV
UK extreme sports mobile content provider Yamgo has launched a mobile TV channel dedicated to extreme sports entertainment. Yamgo TV works on more than 60 different mobile devices through the ROK TV service and is available in the UK, the United States and China, and will soon be available in other countries. Yamgo TV is streamed over both 2.5G and 3G services to mobile phones.

ESPN signs rights agreement for Champ Car World Series
ESPN has entered into a multiyear agreement that will mark the return of the Champ Car World Series in 2007. At least 11 events of the international open-wheel racing series will be televised on ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN on ABC in 2007, with the networks exclusively airing the series in 2008.

Luther takes on U.S. sales manager role
Ross Video has appointed Kyle Luther to U.S. national sales manager. Luther will manage the U.S. sales team and spearhead strategic corporate relationships.
