KyLinTV launches matching relief fund for China earthquake victims
KyLinTV kicked off a relief campaign May 16 to help China earthquake victims in response to the disaster that rocked Wenchuan County four days prior.

Each donation to the KyLinTV China Earthquake Relief Fund will be matched by the same amount from KyLinTV and dispersed to those victims in China, the company said. One hundred percent of all donations will go directly to quake victims, with no overhead costs or handling fees. KyLinTV is the first IPTV service dedicated to the Chinese community living in North America.

Net Servicos achieves 1.5 million STB installation milestone
Thomson has delivered 1.5 million digital cable set-top boxes to Brazilian cable operator NET Serviços, the company said last week. The set-top boxes were installed over a two-year period.

Lifetime Networks selects Gotuit
Lifetime Networks has selected Gotuit to power Lifetime Movie Mash-ups, a broadband video application on www.mylifetime.com.

Visitors to the site can access 15 full-length Lifetime Movies and create Movie Mash-ups using scenes from the original content. All presentation, navigation and mash-up features are enabled using Gotuit's PowerVideo Suite, which harnesses video metadata. New movies will be added each month.

ZON TVCabo selects TANDGERG Television for VOD launch
Portugal’s ZON TVCabo has chosen TANDBERG Television to facilitate its planned video on-demand (VOD) services. TANDBERG Television will also take the role of lead integrator for the VOD play-out.
