Leader adds new modules for multi-format signal generator

In stand 8.393 at IBC, Leader Instruments will show new enhancements to its LT443D modular multi-format signal generator. Modules are now field-upgradeable, enabling existing users to add or change them instead of requiring factory installation.

The LT443D is also now equipped to capture and generate individual broadcast station logos as part of its test pattern output. Logos are imported as PC graphics in bitmap format, presized according to the required design and display resolution. This is a standard feature of the new LT443D chassis and does not require a separate plug-in module. Graphic control is via supplied software compatible with Microsoft Windows.

The LT4443D is supported by seven modules covering a wide range of digital and analog video and audio applications.

Based on a 1U mainframe housing up to four plug-in modules, the LT443D includes a main signal generator, controller and power supply unit. A 20-character dual-line backlit LCD provides direct readout of control parameters in conjunction with dedicated front-panel pushbuttons.
